My Philosophy TodaySince writing my teaching philosophy, it has been molded by my experience in the classroom. I still believe in creative lessons that are engaging and stress free. This philosophy has expanded and deepened in meaning. Lessons should be crafted to challenge students, but more importantly make successful musicians. Everything in the classroom and lesson plan should aid the students in achieving the ultimate goal or objective for the day. In order to motive students toward working for the challenge, the lesson needs to mean something to the student. Through creative and innovative lesson planning, students should feel excited and engaged about the activity, providing intrinsic motivation to be successful.
